Pet care experience
Calm & Loving meets Loyal & Energetic: sounds like the perfect dog, but really it's the perfect dogsitter! I've been a lifetime dog lover, used to working hard and playing hard with canines of all breeds. Working at CycleDog, I made custom collars, leads and harnesses while testing toys and treats with all the local pups. This is where my passion and knowledge for taking care of dogs really expanded. I've been walking and pet sitting professionally full time as an independent contractor since August 2016 (Wag!, Portland Mutt Strut). I thought I would really expand my services to Rover to try and give more affordable pet-care to anyone in the Portland/Gresham area. I've got motivation, skills, love & treats--I'm literally your dog's best friend.

I need to know if your dog has any special needs; if they have any allergies; if they get along with other dogs or prefer one-on-one time; if they've been spayed/neutered; and if they have any specific triggers. Also a list of commands the dog(s) have already mastered would be great for maintaining a structured environment. I know every dog is unique, so I like to give every dog the experience that is right for them. Because it's not just a vacation for the humans--these pups have to have a good time, too!
A typical day
I like to go on daily walks and I'm a regular at the dog parks. I'd love to hit the trails to run & hike if your dog is a high energy explorer like me, and I've always got a stash of toys and sticks to play some fetch. I like to keep dogs busy so they never feel lonely or anxious while their family is away.
