I have grown up my whole life surrounded by pets and have experienced a lot with them. Taking care of pets has been something I’ve enjoyed since I was little! Before my Luna passed from heart disease, she was trained to sit, stay, shake, lay down, and some fun commands like getting her to yodel with her bark. Now I mostly play with my family's various pets and try to train them when I can. My family even used to foster pets to adopt them out! We have raised puppies, nurtured senior dogs, dealt with difficult treatments such as for heart worm disease and much more. My sister is a vet tech too so I get all the second and third-hand knowledge and wisdom.

Edward did a great job taking care of our 2 senior dogs. One is super high maintenance so the fact that Edward didn’t shy away from taking care of her was a giant win! We came back the house was exactly as we left it. He is extremely reliable and communicative. It’s a comfort to know that we have found someone we trust to take care of our babies when we can’t. I’m happy to provide anyone a reference if needed.
Edward was an exceptional choice in caring for my dog RJ, who is very sporadic and loves to explore. RJ tends to be timid around newcomers but was very accepting of Edward and has been welcoming of their time together! I would highly recommend Edward and cannot thank him enough for being so kind and patient with RJ, there isn’t many people I’d trust to take RJ out on a walk, let alone watch over a whole weekend while I went on a girls trip. He even remembered to give RJ the homemade doggy mints I left in the freezer!
As a frequent volunteer and donor to both the Gulf Coast Human Society and Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue league, I value the importance of animal care, especially dogs and I fully endorse Edward Ahleman as the upmost caretaker for such animals. I have personally seen Edward take in and care for a sick French bull dog whom many brushed off as “time to put the dog down,” yet Edward took the dog in until he found a home for the pet, and never once was the word “shelter” mentioned in the discussion. Having seen Edward handle animals in the past, there is no doubt in my mind that I would trust Edward to handle my pets as he has handled many in the past, and hopefully more in the future.
Edward is passionate, enthusiastic, and responsible about caring for pets! Whether you need a "fun pet uncle" to engage in some quality frisbee or ball time, a walk around the block (or maybe even a nearby trail), or overnight caregiving, Edward is your guy! Highly recommend, and we use his services whenever we need a helping hand.

I’m not looking to have any dogs over at my place at the moment, but I’m more than willing to stay the night at your fur-baby’s home or visit during the day for potty breaks, walks, feedings, etc.

It's important to know if any medications are required or any special routines are in place, but I am quite flexible with all of that. Before my Luna passed from heart disease, she was on an intensive medication schedule. Therefore, I'm quite confident I can handle most oral medication deliveries on the schedule set in place.
A typical day
Well, if I'm scheduled to walk your dog, I will be enjoying the walk as much as them quite nearly. I will be spending a lot of time under fluorescent lights at school, so I will really enjoy getting to spend time with your pooches outside. Also, I have a big car and can load up your dogs and go to the park if desired.

Availability
I’m a full time student currently without a part-time job and would love for this to become my main hustle this semester for gas and fun money. I have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays and my schedule is fairly flexible on the other days of the week. I can't devote all 24 hours in a day to your pets because I have a few of my own to stimulate and care for but I would love to get in a schedule caring for yours.
