5-Star Sitter!
Pet care experience
Hi there and thank you for interest in my services! Please read all my information prior to sending a message to ensure we are a good fit. My name is Dina and I have been working with animals professionally and personally for over eight years. I have spent some time in professional grooming, as a veterinary assistant and spent some time doing Rover full time. Working in the veterinary setting provided me with an arsenal of knowledge and experience that comes in handy when it comes to providing excellent, five star Rover service. I can work with excitable, nervous, giant or tiny, specials needs or elderly pets, providing the perfect care that suits their and your needs! I have an Associates of Science with a concentration in Biology, and recently graduated from Oregon State University with Bachelors in Zoology (Go Beavs!).
Reviews
Edina was amazing and took wonderful care of our cat. She is very prompt, and attentive and even willing to make sure our cat got his pill.
Edina has been wonderful with my puppy since I first brought her home. Between walks and daycare she has been flexible, thoughtful and kind
She was able to coax out my super shy kitty, which I really appreciated.
Always arrives on time, provides a ton of cute photos of Freya, and is prompt with any communications. Dina has been a lifesaver with my little girl over the past few weeks!

Safety, trust & environment
My daughter, who recently just turned two, will most likely be my companion during services. Thus, it is a MUST that all animals are comfortable being around a toddler. We have four pets at home so we practice a lot of "gentle pets" and I am a huge body language reader so I always ensure she does not overwhelm or scare them in any way. Safety of all involved is my priority! If we are visiting your pet, I will esure she respects your property. Likewise during any walks, pets must be maintainable to be walked alongside with a toddler. Requested walks must also be appropriate for my toddler to be able to tag along (no dangerous, rough or long routes). While in your home, I ensure your pets are safe and comfortable. I will make sure that whatever they need and like, such as available fresh water, food, treats, special toys and bedding are accessible. While out walking, I like to make sure your pet is secure in their harness with a proper leash and walking during appropriate times to ensure safety and comfortability.
Information Edina D. would like to know about your pet
I like to do a meet and greet beforehand to make sure your fur baby is comfortable around us. I am available for drop ins and walks ONLY on Fort Carson and the nearby areas outside the main gates (I live near Highway 115 and S. Academy). I do these services between the hours of 9am-6pm. I require that all pets I work with be fully vaccinated, minus any medical expections. I also highly encourage that they are up to date on monthly heartworm, flea and tick prevention.
A typical day
While visiting with your pup or cat, I can offer specific care requested for him/her. Is your dog on bed rest? No problem, light playtime with lots of love and treats will do the trick. Have a super excitable dog? Great! That means a good walk and some awesome play and interactive, engaging time. Puppies, elderly, and special needs pets all have different care and I would love to provide that for you!

Availability
Currently I am a full time stay-at-home mom while my husband is deployed. Now that I have more time on my hands, I would love to jump back into Rover as much as I can. Minus a few errands, doctor appointments or park visits we might have during the week I have a pretty wide availability. I do require a MINIMUM of 48 hours notice for requests as I do need to meet you and your pet in your home prior to any services. Of course, the more notice given, the better I am able to accommodate your needs!
