Pet care experience
-first aid and CPR trained! -I’ve had dogs in my life since I was 10. I took care of our family dogs growing up and now my beagle and corgi are my babies! -I also had cats, rabbits, chickens, ducks, fish, parakeets, hamsters, a chinchilla, a gecko, pigs, goats, and horses growing up, so I’m comfortable taking care of a variety of pets! -My beagle is a senior dog and I’ve taken care of other senior dogs and dogs with special diets and medications (oral meds, CBD oil, diapers) -One of my favorite daily activities is taking my dogs on a long walk and then cuddles! -I’ve learned a few training techniques for basic commands in the Lucky Dog style.

-I respect each client's space. I will only enter your home at the scheduled time and only in the rooms that your pet resides or you specify. -I make sure I know where everything involving your pet's care is located so there's no looking around/invading your private space. -I love taking dogs on leashed walks, so that will most likely be a part of my drop-in visits. I will always verify that this is ok with you. -Playtime will happen with each visit! If your pet prefers cuddles instead, I'm totally fine with that! -Respecting your pet's personality and wants is important to me. I adjust what I do for each pet (ex. if they just want to play fetch the whole time-this is a real example-I will make sure we get as much fetch time in) -I usually stay a few minutes past my scheduled time to make sure each pet is comfortable before I leave.

A typical day
-I always talk kindly to your pet as I enter your home to remind them that I'm a friend! If your pet is wary as I enter, I make sure to sit down and talk in a calming manner, let them sniff me, and allow them to approach me when they feel comfortable. -Taking dogs on walks is one of my favorite activities! I will ask if there is a favorite route y'all take. I will make sure they are properly leashed and that we walk a safe distance away from other dogs. -Playing with whatever toy is your pet's favorite is always fun! -I always make sure each pet has fresh water with every visit. -If I am feeding your pet, I will make sure to follow your care instructions. -I love giving treats, but will only do so with your permission. I usually use the treats you provide to avoid any allergic reactions. -I always lock your door as I leave.

Availability
Pet Care is my primary occupation, so my schedule is fairly flexible! Morning and mid-day visits do tend to fill up fast though! I am available most evenings with prior notice. I service SOUTH JORDAN, HERRIMAN, and RIVERTON.
