Pet care experience
I’ve only ever owned one dog, and it was a wonderful ten years together. I’m not ready to own again, but I love to care for all of my friends pets when needed.

I have a very sassy 10 year old calico cat who barely tolerates most people but completely adores Eddie, as does any animal who meets him. He’s an absolute natural with all pets and people alike. He’s incredibly responsible and reliable so any pet in his care would be in the best hands possible.
Eddie always takes such amazing care of my dog Atticus! Every time he watches Atticus I feel at ease knowing that my pup is getting the level of care and attention that I myself would be giving. I always get a ton of updates and happy pup in return :)

I currently live next to multiple parks for pups to play at. I enjoy going on runs, hikes, and drinking lots of water. I have a car, so more access to exciting options. Would be nice to enjoy the time with good dogs! My apartment is comfortable and clean for Netflix and naps.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors that I can account for. My preference are for breeds who are socialized and friendly.
A typical day
If I had the freedom to take a dog on a walk, and depending on the dogs age and breed, we’d either go on a fabulous walk around the neighborhood with a park definitely included! But for dogs with energy to burn, I would be so happy to go on runs, preferably Forest Park. I’d even consider providing the option to take some dogs with me on my further hikes out into the Columbia River gorge (Dog mountain is my favorite)!

I am currently working part time, and with warm weather approaching, I’m hoping to find some adorable friends to take care of. I mostly commit Thur-Sat evenings for work (bartend). There are so many pets in the city, how often do they get to smell the fresh air of the forest?
