Pet care experience
I’ve had pets at all different stages of life. Usually a dog, sometimes a cat. Last year we adopted a family dog from Juneau animal rescue. I loved training her, developing ways to communicate, and building a strong bond with my new best friend. Keiko and I would enjoy making friends with your fur baby while you’re at work or on a trip. We would be happy to help you train them, or just have new friends to play with.

Ed saved the day and my pup got along famously with his! They wore each other out in the first hour then decided the weather was nice enough for a sun tan competition. Very dog friendly home! Much Thanks Ed…we’ll happily rebook again.

We own a home with a fenced back yard on a low traffic street. Taking walks around the neighborhood or on the nearby trails provides plenty of stimulation without the stress. It’s a quiet and peaceful environment, with plenty of space to run and play.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or issues I should plan around. If they need alone time, or have food protection behaviors, please let me know. Keiko is very friendly and prefers someone that she can play with.
A typical day
Your dog will have free access between the house and the yard to run around with Keiko. We like to play fetch when it’s sunny and have indoor fun when it’s not. A typical day consists of two physical exercise sessions (fetch, fast walk) and two mental exercise sessions (skill building, exploration walks, or puzzle games). The rest of the day is free time while I work - and keep an eye on them.
