I never had a dog growing up but got my first dog (Joey - Collie/Shepherd mix) when I was 19. She lived 14 happy years and I cared for her like she was my child. The next dog I got was when I was 42. His name was Rocky (Black Lab/Shepherd mix) and he also lived a happy 14 years. He was literally my best friend. He was such a happy dog that he frequently smiled. I couldn't have loved him more. I was lucky to have two wonderful dogs that enhanced my life and were part of my family. They were both amazing dogs and I definitely miss them.

Our dog had an excellent stay with Ed! He has a great rapport with dogs and made her feel at home. He was good to coordinate with, and was flexible when our return flight was cancelled and we had to change plans. Would definitely recommend him!
Ed took care of our dog for nearly a week, and I was thrilled to have him as our dog sitter. He was fantastic and paid close attention to our dog's needs. He was always willing to make adjustments to his care to ensure that our dog received the same amount of love and attention that she would have received at home. I highly recommend Ed's services and I will be back!

I usually spend a lot of time playing with the dogs. I talk to them quite a bit as I believe they understand more than we think. Plus, it's engaging and the dogs usually enjoy that. We also have a fenced yard.

A typical day
Since I have two teenagers and a 9 year-old, there is always someone around to give your dog(s) attention. I'm still a kid at heart, so I always find different ways to have fun with them.

I am retired, so I am home quite a bit. That also means I'm flexible with scheduling. So, if you need to make last minute changes, it's almost always no problem.
