I'm not a high-volume dog care business. My specialty is getting to know and caring for your animal as if it were my own, like a home away from home while you're away at work or away for a few days. I require a meet-and-greet before taking in your dog to ensure it's a good fit. I love dogs, and I've cared for dogs on and off for much of my life. I can assist you with basic training such as heal, sit, down, no, reactivity, and not jumping on people. depending on the extent and intensity of the training you need, there may be an extra fee.

Ed was very amenable to Skye's needs while she was boarded. She is a sensitive girl and I appreciate the extra love. It's so great she has his yard to chill in and Blue to keep 4-legged company (though she prefers to be the center of attention- hah). Also bonus that Ed works from home- so doggos are not spending all day waiting for their humans. Thanks Ed!
Ed took really good care of my pup! His communication was clear and friendly. He was sensitive and responsive to Bruce's needs and let Bruce sit on his feet while he worked! His place is very safe and comfortable and his dog Blu got along well with Bruce. Ed was really responsive to Bruce's needs and Bruce came home a happy and calm.
Ed is a kind and firm dog owner, Blu is a beautiful shepherd husky mix has been with Ed since he rescued her in Santa Rosa at a few months old. She is a sweet, well adjusted doggo thanks to the countless hours of training Ed did with her. This situation would be a wonderful choice for your doggie daycare needs as Ed has a lovely fully fenced in back yard complete with sand, hammock and a giant palm tree located in a very walkable convenient neighborhood. You can be rest assured that your furry best friend would be very well taken care of with plenty of fun play and interaction during the day.
Ed is an animal lover through and through. If you see him with his dog Blu, it is apparent right away how much he cares. I've known Blu since she was a puppy and the amount of work and effort Ed has put into her training is significant. He also has a nice-sized, fully fenced backyard so that visiting pups have unrestricted access to the outside if ever he isn't home. I know your pet will be very well taken care of with on-time meals, extra long walks, and lots of love. I wouldn't hesitate to have Ed pet sit for me.

My desk is at the window to the rear yard, the dogs get to lounge inside or outside (weather permitting). I frequently have play and love sessions with the dogs and give them their meals and snacks according to instructions given by the pet owner. I never share people's food with any dog. The backyard is fully fenced and fairly large with plenty of shady spots and sunny spots.

Please let me know ahead of time what makes your dog happy, feeding schedule, etc. And also if your dog has separation anxiety, needs medications, is reactive with other dogs, is an alpha or beta, digs holes, is trained on certain commands or if he/she relieves himself indoors, chews things, or has any other behavioral issue that you're working on eradicating.
A typical day
There are two large parks nearby with trails. Twin Lakes and Arana Gulch. I generally walk my dog both which is 4 miles. There's another smaller park close by, Jose Park. I can take your dog with Blu I or I could take yours on a separate shorter walk(s). However, the fenced yard is also large enough to throw balls and run around. I want your dog to be happy here so I will make sure to have plenty of interaction with him/her with your dog's preferred activities

I'm mostly at home or walking the dogs every day. I work from home part-time, I take care of Blu (my pup), and I rarely if ever leave for more than 15 minutes without taking the dogs with me. I would never leave a dog alone without the pet's parent's knowledge and approval.
