My name is Dylan! Born and raised in Illinois, currently going to college in Florida. I come home for the summer months and over holidays to visit family, friends and my pups. I am going into my senior year, fulfilling a Biology degree. My dream is to become a Marine biologist. My schedule is flexible when I am home and I am always willing to work something out with you. I have grown up with dogs all my life; from our double dapple Dachshunds, Redbone Coonhounds, Labrador, Shelti and pitbull are just a few to mention (cats too as well as other animals such as horses!). Other than currently having 4 dogs of my own and rescue fosters that have come and gone from my home, my family is very involved with dog rescue (Almost Home Foundation). My experience ranges from small fragile dogs to larger dogs, senior dogs, 3 legged dogs as well as dogs that have dog aggression (with other dogs). I treat any dog/animal as if it was my own. I have a big heart for others, the environment and all inhabitants of the world. I am willing to drive to your home to take care of your pet while you are away, that way your pup can still enjoy the comfort of their home. I am comfortable with administrating medication. If it is a pill I like to let them take it with some peanut butter or cheese. Wet dog food is another alternative. I have never given a dog an injection, if that is necessary, I would like for you to show me and demonstrate the process on your dog. That would not deter me from helping you with your 4-legged family member (=
