Let’s face it, every dog is different and have their own individual needs and preferences to make them (and you) feel comfortable and relaxed while you’re away. I’m personally very selective about who I choose to care for my dog because I know how hard it is to not stress about them while you’re away, so my goal is to mitigate that stress as much as possible. I will work with you to personalize your dogs stay to make them feel at home and ensure you can enjoy your time away. Although my rates may be higher than some other Rovers, it is because I go above and beyond to deliver a customized experience. I also spend more time with my clients dogs while they’re with me than most of their owners do, and your dog will rarely, if ever be left alone. I’m also very big on taking pictures of my dogs, and at your request will send you pictures throughout the day of your dog enjoying their stay. I worked for a natural dog food store for 3 years, so I have extensive knowledge on dog diets if your dog has special requirements. I also have years of experience with all different breeds of dogs ranging from toy size to giant breeds, dominant to submissive, and extremely active to extremely lethargic. I worked at a dog daycare for 3 years and cared for up to 30+ dogs at a time, I have also owned many large dogs and currently have a German Shepherd/Rottweiler cross who loves every dog she meets. I have also independently taken care of friends/family/coworkers dogs for most of my life. If your dog is active like mine, they can join on multiple long walks throughout the day (often 5+ miles), park visits, dog beach, etc. Also, if your dog isn’t too big and well behaved, they can come to my office with me during the day as well (if not I live a mile from my office and will stop by midday or work from home). All dogs are allowed on the couch/bed at my house so your dog will feel like part time of the family when they’re here. You can rest assured your dog will be safe, happy, comfortable and having plenty of fun!
