Pet care experience
As a Virginian...I grew up in the barn. Exposed to horses, barn cats, dogs and a healthy variety of birds. I have worked with over 400 animals in both private and public sessions; training, providing care- and being their best friend while their parents are away. Pets are Gods best gift to man-kind and although this is not my full time career, I pride myself in loving animals almost as much as I love carrot cake...which is a lot! Any animal will be my furry friend, and I'd be happy to accommodate any medical or special needs for your animal. Having two Great Danes of my own and two cats, I will toot my own horn...I feel like I am an Ace Ventura Pet Detective☺️

Once again, Dylan was a fantastic house sitter. We were on our honeymoon and never had to worry about our creatures - they were in good, responsible and reliable hands. It is clear that Dylan loves animals and makes it easy for both pet owner and pet when he house sits. Cannot recommend enough!!!
Dylan is amazing!!! enough said. dylan is making me feel very comfortable on handling Kodak my shar pei and this is not a easy task I highly recommend Dylan to any one that wants a worry free time away, from your loved companions
Dylan was wonderful. He was responsive to messages and came by to meet my dog before the house/dog sitting job. He kept me informed while I was away with text messages and pictures, including one that I think I need to get framed because it's so good. And when I got home, he had done the laundry so my bed sheets were clean. Corbyn enjoyed his time with Dylan and I can't recommend him highly enough. Thank you Dylan!

While I do not have any breed preferences, I do like to know a little bit about the dog/cat coming to my home or going under my care. Do they have any habits their owner would like me to work on? Are they sensitive to strangers? History of abuse or aggression? What is their favorite toy? Diet or health restraints? Anything that I would NEED to know in order to provide excellent care.
A typical day
I do go to several dog parks here in NoVA...however there are some which I do not go near due to aggressive dog attendants or dirty/unclean waters/play areas. I live on the historic strip of old town Warrenton and the walking path is wonderful for dogs. If at my own home, my big fenced in back-yard is always a great place for fetch or a nice cool swim after "paw-tag." Weekends are great to go to the Farmers markets and work on crowd-situations and some general obedience training...plus getting the furry ones some attention from others in the park.
