Pet care experience
I was raised around dogs growing up. My Mom worked for Pets Are Inn, an in home pet care service, when I was a kid and she let me be her helper. I have a life long love of dogs and have cared for and owned my own special pups Kody, Callie, and my childhood dog Kirby who inspired a life long love of animals. I am really passionate about animal care and used to volunteer at the Minnesota Zoo, where I also interned as a photographer. I love taking my pups on long walks, giving them full puppy days, and I like to make sure all their needs are met.

Dylan was great! I was going on vacation for a week, and I was really worried about being able to find someone who I would be comfortable enough with to stay at my home and watch my dog. I have a crazy, energetic one year old husky/Doberman mix. Dylan was perfect for the job. He worked with me ahead of my trip to ensure that my dog’s home life would stay as normal as possible while I was gone, and he kept me updated daily with how it was going. It was such a relief to be able to go on vacation without worrying about my dog or my home. Would definitely use him again, and recommend him to anyone who needs a sitter or a dog walker!

I care for my pets at home by feeding them twice daily, taking them on quality walks so they can sniff and use the potty, and I make sure they have a good routine. Morning walk, eats, play time and snuggles starts off their day. I also like to make sure my dogs have things to do to enrich their minds with special treats and toys. My favorite thing is giving my pups full puppy days with a good hike. For home visits I will make sure they get a good bathroom break, some quality playtime, and needed affection. For walks I will be happy to go as far as the pup needs to use the potty.

I like to go for runs, play tug, and my speciality is hide and seek. My pup Kody and I are real great at playing that! I love to go to Lebanon Hills, Minnehaha Falls, and fancy neighborhoods with great parks.

I typically work from home and have flexible availability. I start most days with a good dog walk. A week without seeing dogs is no good!
