Pet care experience
Animals have always been a part of my life. I have 15 years of professional animal care experience and have been taking care of animals in my home since I was a child. I’ve worked as a kennel manager At countryside kennels in southern Maryland and 2 different hospitals in Hunt valley and Frederick MD.

This was my first time using Rover, and Dylan was absolutely amazing! He boarded my pup for a couple days and took excellent care of him, updated me throughout on how it was going, and even returned my pup and supplies to my house the evening I got back, so I would return to a happy tail wagging! I will definitely call on Dylan again in the future, if he is up for it. I think his dog and mine might be best friends now too.
Dylan loves dogs. Period. He gets them and he understands our concerns, no matter how silly or small they may be, and has always made us feel completely comfortable leaving our babies in his care. When he moved away for college it was bittersweet, since we were obviously very happy for him, but sorry to see him go. Next time we need someone to stay with our pets we'll always check with him first, just in case he's in the area and available. We highly recommend Dylan and wish him nothing but the best ;)

I live in an apartment with air conditioning and heat. I have one small couch that I don’t mind using for whatever an animal needs it and a large rug for the whole living room along with a small bedroom area. Whenever I am working in someone else’s house, I will follow by any rules and regulations provided to me to a T.

I like to know of any behavioral quirks or any medical specifications prior to arrival just to know what I’m getting into. I pride myself on being able to handle anything due to working in the pet industry for so long and seeing every pet personality/quirk there is ?.
A typical day
I like to keep pets occupied if they are a high energy type. Regular walks that aren’t too strenuous and play time to keep the dogs using their energy. For cats and older dogs I like to keep their stress level low with a calming environment. Good scents and calming music or sounds on the tv to make them feel relaxed.

Availability
I work Monday through Friday 7am-3pm. Mixed days in the office with days at home and completely free on the weekends. I no longer have a pet if my own so I can focus my attention on everyone else’s animals.
