I've owned and loved dogs my entire life and have been around both big and small. Recently I had to say goodbye to my own but am now looking forward to meeting and caring for many more! I understand how nerve racking it can be handing over your dog to a stranger. I can assure you that I will provide the best care and attention needed to keep your beloved friend and family member safe, happy, and secure. I have experience with temperamental dogs and dog-reactive dogs and can make accommodations to keep themselves, people and other dogs safe. I currently only board one household of dogs at a time. Most of my boardings are with dogs that are reactive to other dogs so this allows me to provide a safe environment for them. I do not board dogs that are reactive to people or have a history of reactivity to adults or children.

Dylan is an absolute gem and took great care of our Penny. He is very knowledgeable, caring and attentive. We appreciated his follow ups and updates throughout the stay. Odin had a great time away from home while spending the night at Dylan’s house! I got fantastic picture updates! Odin came back happy and very tired! Dylan handled communication and medications in such a professional manner. Odin can’t wait to go back to snooze on the couch and in the comfy dog bed!

I have a large, 6ft fenced in yard for sniffs and potty breaks with plenty of space to run. I have crates and large dog beds to keep your dog cozy and comfortable. Baby gates used to contain overly curious dogs and puppies. Dogs are always fed and given treats separately in the case you have multiple staying at once. Filtered water is always available.

I generally avoid having dogs socialize with other dogs on walks so let me know if your dog really looks forward to interactions with other people or dogs! Please let me know any places your dog doesn't like being touched such as head, ears, tail, paws (I like to wipe them off when coming inside if possible). How does your dog do around new people, prey, and other dogs? And lastly any other possible triggers like hats, brooms, vacuums, etc.
A typical day
I can provide daily walks and when weather permits, outdoor play with toys or agility challenges. When its rainy and cold we can play inside with their favorite toys, find and seek type games, or training challenges. I'm experienced with Positive Training and can practice leash training, commands or tricks as desired. If your dog likes longer walks I like to go down to the water and Alki.

Availability
I work from home and can continue your dog's normal, daily routine. When boarding or watching a dog, I leave only when necessary for errands and can bring them in my truck with me if desired. I'm more than happy to discuss any special accommodations that might be necessary.
