I grew up in a pet loving family. We never met a stray animal we didn't like and help. We carried that same love into my own family for over 35 years. My wife and I have provided loving care for our pets all those years. We have four grown sons and each of them grew up loving our dogs as well. Two of our sons are now married. We have no grandchildren yet but do have two grand dogs, with another on the way. We do get to keep their dogs when they have to be out of town. We have predominantly had dogs as our pets from a Collie, to a black lab, german shepherd then beagles. We are currently without a pet in our home and are in need of some good time with man's best friend. I have been in education 32 years as a teacher, coach and principal, so I understand the responsibility of taking good care of other peoples most precious possessions.
