I have been doing in home dog boarding for 12 years and have hosted hundreds of happy dog stays. I'm the most experienced Rover host in El Paso. I am also an Airbnb host for the last 10 years. I'm retired after teaching high school and community college instructor for 28 years. When I have guest dogs present I am home most of the day with the dogs. When I have to leave for an appointment or errand, all dogs are kept safely in the house, separated from each other unless they are regular guests who know one another. The Casa's yard is secured with a 68" high rock, iron and wood fence on all three sides. There are also high locked solid metal gates on each side of the house. In addition there is an artificial turf area with a fence. All the exit doors in the house have heavy duty screened security doors and all exits on the property are doubled gated (like the dog park). There are two covered patios as well as shaded areas in the yard. The doggy door exits to the artificial turf area. i love puppies and senior dogs and there are no extra charges for medical or dietary needs. I have crates if we need them but generally speaking, dogs are not crated at K9 Karma Casa unless that is what they are used to at your home. Dogs get plenty of attention including brushing, playing, and snuggling. At night they sleep in the master bedroom with me and it's first come, first serve, on my bed if you permit it. Safety of all guests is a priority at K9 Karma Casa so I need documentation that your pup is up to date on all shots. Please be aware vaccines aren't fully effective immediately after they are given so please update your dog's shots well before its stay. I don't require proof of chipping or flea and tick treatments but I highly recommend it. Please make sure they have their collars and tags with them for their stay.
