I've had dogs every year of my life. I've cared for my dog, Joy, since she was a puppy (8 years). She is an easy-going dog who loves to make friends and play. There's a dog park near me (the off-leash dog run on Jefferson in Mishawaka), and a small, quiet park just a 10 minute walk away I take Joy to often. I could do either of these with your dogs, too.

Had a cancellation when I was already out of town. Dustin was able to save my weekend and look after Grace without being able to meet me or her beforehand.

I have a fenced in yard, though it is small. The yard also has a customized kennel if it's necessary, but we mostly leave that open now. There's a dog door so they can come in the garage. We also like going to the park at least a couple times a week to get more running in on a bigger field.

It's important to know what needs the dog has, from medical to small things like do they need to take more frequent water breaks on a walk. It's also really helpful to know how your dog interacts with other animals and humans. I've had dogs who love people but if they put a hat on, that person becomes some kind of scary monster. Let me know things like that. Even things like how your dog does with thunder and fireworks is going to help, especially when they're staying with me.
A typical day
If your pup is staying with me they'll have a very friendly older dog with the energy of a puppy to play with. We love walks, rides, walks to the nearby park, and going to the dog park.

I am available every day for walking, drop-ins, boarding, and day care. For boarding and day care I take in one dog at a time, and I will do up to five walks and drop-ins.
