My name is Anna Miller and I have been a Kennel Technician at Creekside Pet Boarding for over 4 years. I have worked with, and trained Dustin Adkins on how to properly care for dogs and cats. During his employment, Dustin was driven and enthusiastic. It was clear that he enjoyed his job but also took it seriously. On numerous occasions, we would receive dogs and cats with special needs regarding feeding and medical purposes. He would consult with the animals owner to make sure that he had written the instructions carefully. Dustin even took the liberty to tell all of his co-workers how to care for the animal, and would make sure that it was done correctly. Proper care is taken seriously at our kennel, but interaction and playing with the dogs is important as well. Dustin was active in playing with our daycare and over night dogs. He gave equal attention to the dogs he played with, including any solitary dogs that were forbidden to interact with another dog. Dustin’s heart is in the right place when it comes to animals. I highly recommend Dustin as your animal care taker, he takes their needs seriously, and is more than happy to spend quality play time with your pet. Not only does he treat them as if they are his own, he also never treated his job as “work.” To him, it was a fun environment where he could spend his day playing and caring for dogs and cats.

I am a Rover sitter myself and Dustin has helped me out so much! I had a family emergency come up last minute and after speaking to the owner, he gladly and professionally took over a housesitting job with two dogs for me with a repeat client. Since then, whenever I am fully booked or out of town I recommend him to ANY clients, new and old when I cannot cover the job. It was definitely time for him to join Rover and start building a clientele himself. Knowing him personally, I can attest to the kindness and big heart he has towards animals of all shapes and sizes. You will always be able to leave trusting and knowing they are in wonderful hands with Dustin.
