Pet care experience
I have always had pets, from cats, birds, dogs, hamsters, you name it! I currently have two dogs and two cats myself and have been taking care of animals and house sitting since I was in college (undergraduate!). I'm mature, reliable, and will love your pets and care for your house as I do my own. I am a former teacher and principal, and I am currently a Lead Training Manager- Instructional Design with DIRECTV. I work from home, so I have some flexibility of schedule unless I have a big project, so my calendar will often say away during those times, but send me a message to check. I love animals, and I work extra so my dogs can have a better life. :) My dogs stay at home when I'm in your home, as I check in on them with their daily walk times and play sessions, which would be the only time I would leave your pet alone during a sit.

Dusti has a lovely personality, she came to my home several days prior to our booking so we could meet and she could get to know my fur babies. It’s obvious she loves animals with her gentle voice and kind touch. She sent photos of our animals while we were away which thrilled my daughter. We will definitely ask Dusti to take care of our home and animals again.
Dusti is the most loving dog mom I’ve ever known. Her babies are just that, her babies! She would be awesome, I’d trust her to pup sit anytime!!!
Throughtout the years I’ve known Dusti, I’ve recognized that she is the most dedicated pet owner I’ve ever met. Not only is she an amazing pet owner and lover, her personality shows she has a huge heart full of compassion for not just her pets, but her friends and family that surround her. Her dogs Baxter and Dempsey, are her babies, and it shows by the care and her treatment towards them.

I typically do not bring pets to my home. I will care for them in your home either by drop-ins or staying full time. I do have a fenced yard, but my dogs are older, and so I prefer not to cause stress or anxiety with a parade of new animals to avoid any dust-ups or otherwise.
Information Dusti S. would like to know about your pet
I do not have breed preference, but I do need to know their leash manners and if they take meds, tend to be food or people aggressive, etc. I grew up with boxers, bulldogs, and Boston Terriers and have been owned by many different breeds of all sizes. Additionally, I worked with a dog rescue in the past, so I'm pretty comfortable with just about any dog.
A typical day
I love a nice long walk and if you have a fenced yard, we'll be playing off leash outside, weather permitting. I am experienced with senior dogs, special needs, and medications as well. I follow your lead as far as what you want for your pet.

Availability
I’m currently working on massive projects and will be away for the remainder of this year to complete those. Although I work from home, I manage large projects that don’t allow me the flexibility I would need to pet/house sitting as often as I would like.
