I have 12+ years working as an animal professional. I have worked and cared for animals as a kennel attendant at a luxury boarding facility, the Kentucky Humane Society, and in my current position as a professional dog trainer. Caring for animals is not just a “job” for me, it is my career and my passion. Education and Certifications: - Bachelors of Science in Animal Science from University of Kentucky - CPDT-KSA earned from the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers. This certification requires that I pass a written exam and demonstrate my practical skills via a video exam which is evaluated by some of the Country’s top trainers and behaviorists. I also have to stay up-to-date on advancements in training theory through continuing education credits in order to maintain this certification. - Canine Good Citizen evaluator for the AKC - Member of the Pet Professional Guild. As a member of the PPG, I am committed to being a force free professional. I will NEVER hurt or scare an animal in the name of training or husbandry. The methods I use are the most up-to-date, scientifically-proven training methods.
