Pet care experience
I’ve had pets my whole life. From dogs and cats, to hedgehogs and snakes, I’ve always been around animals and understand their needs. In college, I worked for/ran a private pet care company, in Austin, TX, where I was in charge of pet care including boarding, walking, feeding, giving medicine, and anything else I could possibly do to give owners a peace of mind while away from their best friends.

My pup ran her little heart out around the yard and played with Drew’s dog. I got plenty of pictures and great communication. Would recommend!
Drew is very good with all types of animals. He has a dog who he takes very good care of and is very active with, as well as a cat who is very shy and only likes him because he has a way with animals. He has watched my dog on many occasions, and I have always felt very comfortable with her being in his care.

I have a fenced in yard plenty big enough to run and play. We have plenty of balls/toys, and a large splash pad to play in the water when it’s hot outside. My family also has a ranch down the street, and I will often take dogs on long walks on the ranch, when weather permits. Pets are allowed on furniture in my house, and my own dog spends her time on the sofa or in the bed when not playing. I do kennel my own pup when away, and have an extra crate if yours feels safer when kenneled.

A typical day
I have a decent sized back yard for dogs to safely play. When the weather is nice, I leave the back door open so then can come in and out as needed. We typically will play in the back yard, whether it be fetch, playing in the splash pad, or my dog loves to chase the water out of the hose. I live within just a few minutes of a park where we will sometimes walk, and just down the road from our family ranch, where I like to take the dogs out for walks or rides in the side-by-side.

Availability
I work full time in Kerrville, during the week. While at work, I am able to provide breaks to potty, run, and play on my lunch break (12-1pm). If needed/requested, I do have the ability to work from home to accommodate pets that need more supervision.
