Reliable Fur Friend Care
Pet care experience
Embracing a deep affinity for animals, my husband and I extend heartfelt care. Despite not having our own, we've cultivated cherished experiences by caring for my brother-in-law's pet, assisting my boss, and joyfully engaging with the pets of friends and family. As active individuals who relish walks and runs, we're attuned to the exercise needs of pets. If your companion thrives on outdoor activities, count on us to provide invigorating support. Alternatively, we're equally content to offer cozy cuddles or any other personalized care your pet requires. Our commitment is to treat your beloved companions with the utmost care and attention, ensuring their comfort, happiness, and well-being.
Reviews

This was my first experience with Rover. After booking and the reservation was confirmed, we had a change of plans. Dragana was very accommodating and worked with us to make the change. My dog, Boomer, has separation anxiety. I requested a Meet and Greet. Dragana was very receptive and suggested we do it the day before Boomer would be dropped off. Dragana and David met us and spent time getting acquainted and playing with Boomer. All three of them seemed to be having a good time. The following day I dropped Boomer off for his stay. Dragana and David sat on the floor playing with Boomer. They were very engaged with him. Boomer loved the attention. I left knowing I had made the right choice! Dragana and David took Boomer to the lake. The even sent pictures of him walking along the shore! They took him on walks and gave him lots of attention. When I arrived to pick up Boomer he was glad to see me. But his slight hesitation when it was time to leave told me he had a good time with his two new best friends. Boomer will be visiting them again! I highly recommend this wonderful couple.

Such good care Darcy is getting! Thank you Dragana.

You are absolutely fantastic dog sitters. Thank you for sharing the pictures and how our Darcy girl is right at home in your home. We laughed so hard that she was helping you with your chores. 😊

Dragana was so helpful when we had to change our plans. We love working with her and planning on using her for our next day trip. Thanks for your flexibility. Beth

Information Dragana T. would like to know about your pet
When preparing to care for a dog, there are several key pieces of information that are important to know ahead of time to ensure a smooth and comfortable experience for both you and the dog. Given that my husband works during the day and I will be alone with the dog, understanding the dog's behavior and temperament becomes even more crucial. Walking Behavior: Knowing how the dog behaves during walks is essential. Does the dog pull on the leash, have a tendency to lunge at other animals or distractions, or does it walk calmly by your side? Reaction to Other Dogs: Since you'll be spending time alone with the dog, it's important to know how they react around other dogs. Are they friendly and sociable, or do they tend to be more reserved or even reactive? Training and Commands: Familiarity with the dog's level of training and their response to commands is vital. Are they well-trained and responsive to basic commands like "sit," "stay," and "come"? Energy Levels: Knowing the dog's energy levels will help you plan appropriate activities and exercise routines. Some dogs require more vigorous exercise, while others are content with shorter walks and indoor play. Allergies and Medical Conditions: Awareness of any allergies or medical conditions the dog has is important for their well-being. This includes dietary restrictions, medication needs, and any specific care instructions. Favorite Toys and Activities: Knowing what toys and activities the dog enjoys can help provide engaging and enriching experiences.
A typical day
To start our day off on the right paw, we'll embark on extra-long walks in the morning and at night. Exploring the neighborhood or heading to a nearby park will give the dogs a chance to stretch their legs, take in the fresh air, and experience new sights and scents. These walks not only provide exercise but also opportunities for mental stimulation as they encounter different environments. During our time indoors, you can rest assured that the dogs will receive plenty of attention and affection. We'll engage in interactive play sessions, utilizing toys that challenge their minds and bodies. Whether it's a game of fetch or tug-of-war, there will be no shortage of entertainment. Of course, there will be ample time for cuddles and pets, as I understand the importance of creating a bond built on trust and companionship. Depending on the dogs' preferences, we might also explore special places beyond the typical walking routes. This could involve trips to nature trails or even dog parks where they can socialize and interact with other furry friends. It's all about tailoring the activities to the individual needs and interests of each dog in my care. Ultimately, my goal is to ensure that the dogs have a blast during their time with me. Whether it's through engaging play, cozy cuddles, stimulating walks, or even a mix of all these activities, I'll make sure they have a well-rounded and enjoyable experience that leaves their tails wagging and their spirits lifted.
