Dr. Bella M.
Edinburgh
Dog-loving ex-doctor.
Pet care experience
No-pet, non-smoking household, private garden, 7 years experience with dogs. I had a rescue staffy into old age (PTS last year) so confident with strong dogs, basic behavioural issues, giving medication, gentler walks for joint issues etc.
Reviews
Super responsive, great with Mabel. Mabel had a lovely time with Bella and is excited to go back. She was really attentive to Mabel's needs and even kept me updated on a poo situation when Mabel was unwell. Would recommend to anyone!
Bella took very well care of my dog for 19 days. I can highly recommend her. Thanks you.
Millie had a brilliant time with Bella & I was kept updated with how she was settling and pictures throughout. Millie can be a little anxious with new surroundings but Bella put her at ease (and me!!!) and she settled quickly. Would highly recommend and would definitely rebook. Thank you again!
Sparky had a really lovely time with Bella. Would definitely book again in the future

I live opposite Calton Hill and usually take a dog on 2 long walks a day and some shorter pee-breaks. I enjoy taking dogs with me to cafes etc, or having a sofa-cuddle. I do not have a crate but could arrange this for regular stays. I live alone so the house is peaceful and quiet for more nervous dogs.
Home
Information Dr. Bella M. would like to know about your pet
I need to know your dog's *Energy levels *Attitude to other dogs/ people *Strength on the lead *Food and walk preferences and communication styles (e.g. how do they let me know if they are needing another pee, or want space etc )
A typical day
As I'm now off work we can have all sorts of fun! We'd walk for a while up Calton Hill or meet other dogs in Pilrig Park, have a lazy afternoon on the sofa, or if car-friendly maybe even visit Portobello beach for a splash! (I have a big chunky Dacia Duster who doesn't mind muddy paws)
Services

Availability
I've left my job as a doctor (Dobby is a free elf!) so am available every day most of the day until I go to South Africa in mid April! I do have circus class for 1-2 hours most days in the evening (between 6-9) or in the morning on Sundays (11-1), so if boarding, dogs would need to be OK left for 1-2 hours. Sometimes I have a rest day but this changes weekly so just check with me :)
