Growing up as a Midwest Farmboy, I have been around pets all my life caring for, feeding and nuturing from babies to adults. In my adult years, I have raised, trained and cared for two Golden Retrievers, one female Yorkshire Terrier, a recently deceased senior Labrador now running through fields of flowers in Heaven, and two high energy extremely intelligent German Shorthaired Pointers. I have studied and put into practice dog training methods for several decades resulting in well trained and behaved dogs. The property is private, quiet and provides a bountiful playground for my dogs and your dog. I walk my GSPs twice a day so your dog will get plenty of activity and an Energizer Bunny daily play date with my two GSPs. My dogs are my children as most people say...in this case since I have no children, they are truly such. I will care for your dog like my own providing love, feeding, positive communication, and security. This environment is optimal for a high energy dog with the outside meadow or a laid back dog that may prefer to lie in front of the electric fireplace. I have plenty of food bowls, dog mats, a padded dog box if your dog wants privacy and a minature condo of their own while here. I have experience in caring for my senior Labrador and past Golden Retrievers in their senior years, as well as raising all my dogs from puppies. I am responsible, responsive, positive, kind and also high energy.
