Who let the Dougs out?!?

Pet care experience

Hey there! My name is Doug and I am a lifelong animal enthusiast both in terms of career choice (biologist) and in the many years of free rent I have provided to a clowder of semi-grateful cats. Reviews from these felines generally come in the form of purrs and head rubs. I’m no stranger to walking dogs either. I also happen to be a reptile enthusiast, so I’m happy to take care of your reptiles for you while you’re on vacation. I can provide details of my experience there including certifications in venomous handling.

Doug has watched my senior cat several times and I am always so impressed with how well he takes care of her! He treats her like his own cat, spending extra time giving her love and attention while I am gone. Doug is very reliable, and I know my baby is in very good hands with him! I highly recommend Doug for any pet care needs because he is so great with all different types of animals!

Safety, trust & environment

I have pets of my own who will not necessarily get along with your pets in my small apartment, so my services will generally involve me coming to your place. I’m a responsible individual who will make sure everything is exactly as I found it and I will be sure to lock up before I leave.

Information Doug R. would like to know about your pet

I’m happy to look after most any dog regardless of breed provided it is in your home. Please let me know everything I need to know about your pup beforehand. I do not have a lot of experience with puppies or senior dogs but if I run into questions I have friends nearby I can contact who have worked in shelters professionally.

A typical day

I’m a big time walker myself so I’m happy to take your dogs for as long as it takes to get their energy out. I’m happy to take them to dog parks or play fetch if you have a backyard.
