Pet care experience
I offer roam free, un-crated boarding (unless you prefer a crate and can provide one.) I’ve cared for dogs, my own and others’, for over 20 years. I currently have no pets of my own, but I would enjoy caring for yours as well as watching your home while you are away.

Very quick to respond and excellent communication
Our dog is pretty quiet in general, but he seemed exceptionally chill with Doug. Tony was pretty happy here! Doug was exceptionally accommodating of our short notice visit as well as our pick up arrangements. I would recommend Doug over and over again.
Doug is a great sitter! We decided to book a 24 hour stay with Doug for our 55lb. pittie named Lou, prior to a week long trip out of the country, because Lou can be a lot to handle. Doug sent updates and the stay went smoothly. We will now be able to travel at ease knowing that Lou will be in good hands while we're gone. This is our first time using Rover and we are pleased to have found Doug!
We had to choose a different dog sitter right before our trip and Doug was available short notice. He took good care of Cody and we would definitely recommend him!

Let me know your dogs habits, likes, dislikes and anything you can think of to help minimize your pets anxiety while you’re separated. I’ve never met a dog that didn’t like me right off the bat, but some separation anxiety is normal. Keeping things routine and adding in activities they enjoy helps a lot.
A typical day
If your dog is up for it, I love to hike, jog, go to the park, walk around the neighborhood,and take a nice drive. For dogs that like to go the distance, I like to take them on hikes in the foothills and even up to the Sandias. I like to take less athletic dogs for a walk around the neighborhood or to some of the Open Space areas in town.
