I had a golden retriever growing up from 11 years old to 23. More recently, me and my fiancé have a golden retriever who is a year and a half. We trained him as a puppy with no outside help or classes. In general, we love having dogs around and being active with them. Our dog is very energetic, playful, and gentle, and he loves playing with other dogs! I’m currently working from home which means outside of errands and the occasional evening dinner plans, I’m almost always home. I’m pretty flexible in terms of schedule. I may be gone a few weekends here and there but am available to host dogs when I am still in St. Louis. My fiancé and I have a golden retriever who is 1.5 years old. He’s playful, gentle, and loves the company of other dogs. He has full roam of the house, including a fenced in back yard. There’s several parks near by and a soccer field within walking distance that I like to take my dog.
