We very much appreciate Doug's care for our senior cat. Our cat seems very comfortable with Doug and he is well taken care of!

I have fond memories of visiting his family home and seeing Doug and his beloved dog, Snoopy, taking walks and playing together. Throughout his life, Doug has not only loved and cared for his own pets, but he extended that care to neighborhood feral cats, birds, and small animals by providing food and shelter, and even by choosing garden plantings beneficial to the animals. As a volunteer and supporter, he has cared for animal shelter dogs and cats. He is a vocal advocate for humane treatment and respect for animals of all species, and backs his values with direct action through contributions, boycotting conflicting products, and making dietary changes that align with his beliefs. When visiting our family, I’ve watched Doug win over our cats, which is no small feat with our shy older girls who hide from most others. He was even able to encourage play and purrs! Doug was able to do the same with my mother’s senior cat and provided excellent care for him while mom was hospitalized. I do not hesitate to recommend Doug for your caretaking needs and know that his commitment to excellence, his compassion, and his skills with general and medical care for your pet will not disappoint!
