Providing all the cuddles they want
Pet care experience
BOOKING FOR THE 4th OF JULY. I am 57 and I can not think of a time that I didn’t have at least one dog. Usually two dogs. I’m the person at the party that goes into the corner and pets the dogs. Lol. I have done a lot of pet sitting. Usually for family. But the dogs sleep in bed with me, and of course they’re on the furniture. They are people too. I am home all the time so it works out really well for the dogs.(especially puppies.)
Reviews
Dorothy has watched my dog on several occasions. I never worry about her when she is there. She is happy and maybe a little spoiled. I love the pictures that Dorothy sends me which helps me not feel guilty about leaving my baby for the day or week.
Dottie is truly amazing. She treats every dog as if they were her very own. She will spoil them rotten. Highly reliable and very attentive to their every need. If you think your fur babies are going to be locked up all day and only let out to potty, think again! Even the most troublesome of my dogs have never seen a kennel in her care.
Dorothy has always had animals as long as i have known her. They should be considered the luckiest pets to have her as their owner! She is so patient and caring with all the pets she has had. She frequently pet sits for us when we are out of town and is happy to have the extra playmates.
Dorothy has always had pets and usually multiple at a time and it shows as her love for animals is very obvious. She has watched over our 2 cats and our dog multiple times. They are always very well taken care of and gives us peace of mind when we have to leave town especially when our dog was on medication that had to be taken multiple times a day. Our dog, Arnie, got along great with her dog, Bentley. It is always great getting a tired dog at the end of a long travel day after they spend all day playing. Highly recommend.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog will never come home to you shivering or showing signs of abuse. I had that happen with my dog and my dog is like my baby. The dogs that I dog sit for are completely spoiled. Of course they’re going to miss you, but they will get much love while you’re gone. Especially in the beginning they’re sad. It’s quite an adjustment for the babies. But once they see how much fun they’re going to have, they’ll forget all about it and go do the zoomies with Bentley.

Information Dorothy H. would like to know about your pet
The age and temperament of the dog, any medication that he/she takes and the easiest way to get them to take it. I would want to know any other little quirks that he or she might have. You can usually tell within the first minute or two how they’re going to get along with the rest of the dogs. Little dogs are so much easier they don’t get into the big fights that I see in dog parks between the big dogs sometimes.
A typical day
It depends on the age of the dog and the season. When it’s winter we don’t play outside much. I have a big basement for them to play in, too. Which happens to be my studio, so we can all play.

I’m home full-time. I can let them out whenever they want (I always go out with them. They are never outside alone.). They are good company. And since I am always home and can’t work, I can sit on the floor and play with the pups, I mean, isn’t that heaven?!
