My husband and I are semi-retired. We live and work on our 1.67 acre suburban hobby farm we call the Althauser Bauernhof. My husband is home full-time; I work part-time. We have chickens (in their own compound), gardens, and room to run (fenced). We sell vegetables, eggs, cookies, and jam from our Farmstand. Our dog is a female Anatolian Shepherd who is very well socialized and gets along with everyone. We also have a cat who is indoor/outdoor (if your dog doesn't get along with cats, we still can accommodate you). All in all our living situation is simple, relaxed, and we have the time and the desire to give attention to the animals. We walk 2x a day in the neighborhood and local parks. We also take hikes and visit the local dog park. One of us is almost always home, and when we are out together, it is usually only for an hour or two. We are also available for drop-in visits as well as dog walking :-)
