Having owned, cared and worked with dogs, horses and animals all my life I have a great respect, admiration and love of all animals and nature. I am qualified in Equine therapy for humans using horses as the medium to help people. Animals are one with nature and therefore have the potential to live in symbiosis with humans, while also healing us at a profound level through just being themselves. I have experience dog sitting/boarding in several countries world wide. I have had the pleasure of working with working dogs helping to benefit man in many ways. I am presently in the process of competing a Ofqual Level 3 Award in Canine Care, Behaviour and Welfare which includes the car of dogs whilst at day care/boarding. In Australia whilst working on stations I managed and cared for large and small live stock. Some of the duties included mustering cattle and sheep on horseback alongside working dogs. I have trained young unbroken horses using the horse whisperer approach of Monty Roberts. I presently still ride and care for horses and have an Equine Diploma which includes sheep husbandry. My qualification in Counceling and my interest in animal therapy has helped me to better communicate with both humans and animals. I live with a very friendly male dog who is 16 months old, who would provide company for your dog while being in my care both at home and on walks. He has access to a large garden 24/7 surrounded by woodland and the South Downs next to my street.
