Pet care experience
I previously worked at a boarding kennel for over four years and only left due to the company being sold. I was responsible for feeding the dogs and admistering oral medication as directed by either the client or our vet who owned the company. I gave the dogs a bath and brushed them out before they went home. I also played with them either in the yard or in their cages. I have collected stool and urine samples when asked. I have also done pet sitting for friends and neighbors. I have cleaned out litter boxes and played with cats. I feed and played with a ferret. I love all animals as if they were my own. I have also assisted the vet in minor procedures. I have references and a resume resume upon request

Dorisann stayed in touch with us while we were away and sent daily photos. She came on time to take care of our cats and was very understanding of their special dietary needs.
Dorisann did great for our cat Lulu while we were away for 10 days! She visited Lulu daily and gave her a lot of love and attention. We got pictures each day as well. Lulu looks healthier than before our trip lol

Dorisann was such a Godsend on a recent vacation I took. She was reliable and came to my house on time every day. Dorisann communicated with my son daily. Before our trip she came to our house to meet our dog and us. It was a relief during our trip knowing that our dog was well cared for by somebody who clearly loves animals. Yes I would like to meet a dog before dog sitting so they know who I am when I come to the house. I don't have any preference when it comes to breeds. I love all dogs. I would just like to make sure the dog is friendly and is willing to come to me. I have had to take care of dogs that were too timid to get for a walk.
A typical day
I would walk a few blocks or take them to a nearby dog park. I would throw a Frisbee or a ball and see if they would bring it back. Inside I would sit on the floor and play with them.
