Over the last 8 years I have been pet/housesitting on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. I have experience is caring for Special needs pets, including administering shots and meds and wound dressings. I have always had a special love for all animals. In my experience I try to go the extra mile. I treat all kinds of animals and pets as if they were my own. At 75 years young I'm still able to walk pets. I think what sets me apart from some sitters is that I my love is endless. Your pets are my #1 propriety when in my care. I take. the time to get to know them and understand them I have amazing references! I can guarantee you that while you are away you can go and know that I am keeping your pet safe and happy. Doris has taken care of my two Cock-a-poos numerous times. She was very dependable and committed to taking the best of care of Harley and Lexi. Harley was an older dog that needed special attention and daily meds at times. He was 18 when he died last year. Doris has a lot of experience with different types of dogs, treating them as her own. She always communicated well with me when she was pet sitting, via text and pictures, and a phone call if necessary. She can handle special needs dogs and is very trustworthy. I would highly recommend Doris to take care of your pet, knowing that he/she will be getting the best of care. Pat M.
I love Doris and her sweet way with our dog, Doc and 3 cats. Doc is a very special 12 year old lab/cocker mix with a myriad of health problems. His feeding requires special instructions and patience, he gets 3 different eye drops twice a day and he is diabetic, requiring insulin injections twice a day. Doris took the time to understand his schedule and would reach out to me with any questions. We had NO problems and we could relax knowing he was in great hands. Our kitties did not need any special help but they were properly fed and litter boxes clean, very important. Most importantly she loved on them and sent pictures throughout the time we were gone.
I’ve know Doris for over thirty years. She’s a very caring and giving person. She has treated her animals with love and those of others as if they were her own. Anyone that has her watch their animals will have no worries.
Doris made it possible for my husband and I to take a very first vacation and not have to worry about our puppies ! She spent the entire week at our home took care of them kept my house neat we were very thankful that she was available to help with our pet sitting . I would recommend her
