I am a dog foster parent and volunteer with a local animal rescue, Rescue City. I specialize in caring for all aged dogs including senior and special needs pets. I provide gentle care for dogs that are deaf, blind, has incontinence, arthritis, mobility issues, etc. I've cared for pets since I was a child. Friends, family, and neighbors have relied on me to walk, feed, and care for their pets. Currently, I work from home and can appreciate some outside time every few hours. I reside in an apartment that has plenty of space for your fur-baby. I am always responsible and cautious when pets are in my care.

This was my first time boarding my pup with Dorena and she was extraordinary. He has never spent the night away from home and Dorena was very attentive to his needs. He quickly became comfortable at Dorena’s home which looked pet friendly. She did an excellent job sticking to my pups regular schedule and keeping me updated on his adventures with her. I highly recommend Dorena and I will definitely be boarding my pup with her again.
Dorena takes a gentle approach with my anxious pup. He is small and skeptical of new things and people. Dorena’s genuine love and compassion for animals plus her professionalism helps create a bond of trust with my dog that I haven’t seen him have with others. He didn’t cry or whine at all when I left him with Dorena. She sent me lots of pics and updates throughout his stay which made was much appreciated. I will definitely be using Dorena’s dog sitting and boarding services again. I highly recommend her ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Dorena is awesome!!! I would give her 10 stars if I could. She was so gentle and kind with my pup. He is young and still getting used to new people, smells, and sounds. Dorena was patient with him as he can be nervous in new environments. She kept me updated with pictures and text messages. Which made me feel very comfortable. I can tell my pup was relaxed at Dorena’s home. I highly recommend Dorena and will definitely be using her again.
Hire her! Dorena is my go to person when I need a dog walker and someone to drop in on my previous Dean (Jack Russell) the days I need to go into the office. She provides updates on my dog's neighborhood walks and drop ins. She also sends adorable pictures/videos of their walks. She is attentive and genuinely cares for all dogs. My dog gets excited to see her! I feel comfortable in knowing that my baby Dean is safe and in good hands with Dorena.
