I have loved dogs for as long as I can remember and had them since I was six. Though I have mostly had big dogs, my sisters and people close to me have had small and medium size dogs and I love them all the same. I have had both anxious rescue pups and pure breds. People know me as someone who is trustworthy and reliable for my love and care for dogs. From puppies to old age, I have cared for my dogs at every stage of life and know how to adapt to what they need. I volunteered for years at a dog sanctuary, walking and rehabilitating dogs that were not yet up for adoption due to behavioral or medical issues but needed care prior to the adoption process. I currently live in New York City with a roommate who is allergic to dogs so I unfortunately cannot have my golden retriever Belle live with me - she lives at home in CT with my family. I would absolutely love the opportunity to interact and play with any dog in need of exercise, love and care.
