Their routine, very important! What stresses them out, how they are with other dogs, if they have food aggression (it happens, just need to know!), separation anxiety, etc. Also favorite treats, toys, etc.

I love going on long walks and playing fetch, the classics! But also I’ve had great success entertaining dogs with puzzle toys with treats in them, snuffle mats, etc. Some dogs need the physical exercise and others need the human company and love, I like to get a feel for what each dog needs. Some dogs get stressed on walks and would do better with a mix of outside play time and walk time. Others are lazy and just need potty and more focus on bonding time/mental stimulation.
