Stay at home, dedicated dog lover.

Pet care experience

I started as a child rescuing strays and have rescued many since, I am a stay at home mother to an eleven year old daughter. We have 2 labs at present our old girl (whisper 14yrs)and her grandaughter(princess 1yr old) I literally dedicate my life to my family and pets, I pet sit regularly for friends and family so thought this would be perfect for me. Especially as we live in a small village and have a large fenced in garden. I walk my dogs every day long walks up the woods or sometimes down the local beach, as my daughters at school all day. Its a non smoking household, and i love pampering my pooches both of which are well socialised and love other dogs.

This was Leia 2nd visit to Donna and she seemed happy to visit again. When I picked Leia up Donna advised Leia had been out on walks meeting lots of other dogs and owners so had a great time.

This lady is fab & very very good with dogs.... So friendly & welcoming to not just my dog, but my kids & myself too! Dolly loved her stay and had even been working at things usually quite anxious with. So nice to pick up and see how happy content Dolls was with her & family. Knowing my dolls is well looked after great peace of mind . Thank u so much and hopefully see soon.

I have a large fenced in garden. Both my dogs are crate trained and well socialised, i also have all the necessary crates, leads etc etc in order to care for dogs of all shapes and sizes. I am a stay at home mother to my eleven yr old daughter who is also an avid dog lover and one day hopes to become a vet. I walk my dogs every day, usually at least twice a day and having patio doors that lead straight out into my garden is ideal, as i tend to leave it open for the dogs to come in n out at there leisure. And no matter what i am doing, i am able to keep an eye on them whether they are in or out., The village i live in is surrounded by fields and wooded areas so i can allow my dogs to safely run and play off lead too, but until i knew other peoples dogs well enough to trust them to run off lead, i do have long extending leads too. So no matter how well your dog is or isnt off lead they will still be able to join in the long leisurely walks and all the fun that entails. We also live a 5min drive from the local beach where my dogs love to go at the weekends.

The only dogs i cant take is unneutered males as"princess" isnt spayed as we intend to breed her at a later date. And i actually love special needs dogs as i used to have a deaf albino staffy n she won my heart completly

A typical day

Daily walks twice daily around our village, lots of parks and wooded areas for dogs to safely run around and expel any excess energy. Especially as we have both an old lazy dog and a high energy 1year old labrador. Also stay relatively close to a beach, so regularly take them there too. I am also a novice cyclist and our puppy loves running alongside the bike. So loadsa fun stuff and we love nothing more than snuggling in with them at night once all there energy has been expelled.

I dont work outwith the home, so most of my time is dedicated to looking after my home, family and my dogs. I have always took rescue dogs. Until recently that is. As whisper was an ex breeding bitch that we took in, in order to give her the later yrs she deserved. But when we realised what an amazing dog she was, aswel as her outstanding pedigree, i decided to buy 1 of her daughters "autumn" pups ( as i know these breeders very well. I bought her in order to start breeding since i am at home all the time now. And since i have a few friends that already breed, i have plenty of people to rely on for advice. But "princess is only a yr old so i dont intend to breed her for another yr anyway. Hence why i decided to try this out. It just feels like the ideal job for me.
