I have an innate ability to connect with dogs and cats. I am able to read their body language and am mindful of their needs. Also, I talk to your fur babies! Yes, that's right--I talk to them! Even if your fur baby is a shy cat that won't ever come out when I visit, I will still talk to him/her. I will NEVER force unwanted affection on an animal. Particularly cats. I've cared for many, many cats and some that I've cared for do not want any touching of any kind. I can administer oral or topical medication to both dogs and cats. I am happy to play with your fur babies as well!

I am happy and able to provide the care that your dog or cat needs and is accustomed to in your home. I have cared for dogs with a wide variety of personalities and needs. I am adept at caring for dogs that are uncomfortable around other dogs and kids and have cared for a dog that is highly unsettled by many different noises. I am able to calm your dog and make them feel safe in situations that scare them. I have also taken care of many, many cats and will meet them where they are. Don't want pets or scritches? Don't want me to make eye contact? No problem!

A typical day
I don't know that there is a typical day, as each dog I care for is different. I talk to them a lot, make sure they have food and water refills as needed. If they like to snuggle, I'm happy to sit and snuggle! Walks are dependent upon the neighborhood and the dog. I've had dogs who have areas they especially like, dogs that have a pretty set walking path, and dogs that don't care what route we take so I am happy to oblige your dog's wishes! We play also. I'm able to read a dog's body language very well, so I can tell when they're ready to play and I'm happy to play!

Availability
My schedule during weekdays is quite full. I have a number of regularly scheduled dog walks throughout the week. That said, I certainly may be able to squeeze in a dog walk for you if you have a need. I'm also available for dog/cat sitting in your home and I can certainly provide cat care!
