I love small dogs and would love to provide loving care for yours while you are away. I have a house, a doggie-proof fenced yard, a doggie door ( and I would be happy to show your dog how to use it) and a doggie run area outside the doggie door. I have a small dog of my own who likes company. If needed, I have doggie gates and fences and kennels that I can use to keep your dog safe. I do work in an office on weekdays, so what I like to do, is assess the needs of your dog by having some time with it over the weekend. If I think the dog can be by itself during the day with access to the doggie door and doggie run area and with cues from my dog, then that works great. If your dog needs more attention and can't be left alone that long, I do have the ability to work from home, come home as needed, or bring your dog to work with me. Lots of options. The main thing is, I will treat your dog like he/she is my own.
