Pet care experience
I was given my first puppy when I turned 8 years old, the same year I found a kitten durning my paper route in a blizzard in NE! My parents felt I was loving, compassionate and responsible to have both. Those pets became my best friends through elementary school, high school, college and part of my marriage when I had my 5 children, I took loving care of them along with other dogs and cats we had along the way, I loved all my pets dearly and to this day I treat my two dogs and my friends and neighbors' pets with kindness and love.

Donna watched my sweet puppy Scout while we were away on vacation and I can’t say enough about her! She helped us feel so at ease leaving our baby with her. Gave us so many updates on how he was doing and took him on lots of walks! When we came home he seemed so relax but obviously excited to see us! Thanks again Donna!

Donna has always had a love for animals. She has had seven dogs, presently has two. She’s also had three cats. I’ve been a friend of Donna’s for 16 years. I have a set routine for my 2 dogs. Morning welcome treats, breakfast and a morning walk. Playtime is always welcomed with many toys and many tummy rubs. After noon treats of healthy veggies and another walk. Usually, the nap after this and play time of chasing and hiding toys around the house, followed by a late afternoon walk. Having the pleasure to walk a client's pet, I will follow instructions by the owners but will add some extra hugs and cuddles.

A typical day
I like to play fetch, give belly rubs, run outside. My dogs love to chase squirrels! I would ask the owner what the dog likes to play and do my best to make them happy.

I am presently, newly retired from teaching. I have plenty of my time to share my time with new fur friends. This will allow me to keep the routine and time with my two fur babies.
