Gifting your dogs care & happiness

Pet care experience

I have many years of dog care experience! I worked in a kennel for 7 years but ive been taking care of dogs way before that. I grew up with many breeds especially when I lived on a ranch in Florida, and I even have a 15 yr old dog myself! Had her since she was a puppy. I am experienced with any age of dog! I LOVE senior dogs so if you have an elder furry friend and you wish for them to be fully taken care of & tended to, feel free to reach out!

Donna did a great job in watching my dog Argus. I highly recommend Donna and will gladly use her again in the future.

Donna put our girl (and her mama) at ease for her first short, but sweet, Rover stay! She sent updates and pics to let me know all was well. She helped us out with short notice so we could attend our niece's wedding! 😊👍

If in my home, the pets will be taken care of! I have a decent sized fenced in back yard. It’s a one story house but plenty of room to roam. We normally don’t put our dogs in crates but if it’s a necessity for your personal dog then I can but crate will have to be brought here. For example, if you have it in a routine to crate them during bedtime or certain times of day. But overall, if not required to be caged, our dogs free roam! We have a few dog toys but feel free to bring your own. We have two dogs of our own. Both of our dogs have no trouble with other breeds and are very friendly, calm and welcoming! We treat dogs with respect and kindness. We currently have 4 dog beds laid around the house but I always tell clients to feel free to bring their own! I will send daily updates with pics to ease your nerves on leaving your beloved furry friend. I strive to make your pets feel comfortable, let me know of anything that is needed to help them stick to their usual routine and living style!

Information Donna K. would like to know about your pet

I would like to know their breed, energy level, age and any behavior issues that I should be aware of so that I'm prepared. Also if they have a tendency to jump on other dogs a lot! (In a playful manner) only because my elderly dog, Violet, has arthritis in her back leg joints so it hurts her to have dogs jumping on her. She won’t ever attack because of it but it just does not bring her comfort. Also, if necessary, I would like to know their triggers, fear response to movements or objects if any, prior experience to leaving pet with boarder (if there’s anything that I should know to make the stay go smoothly) I know it says I accept large dogs, but large to a limit of 55 pounds! Also please let me know if they are food aggressive! My two dogs aren’t aggressive with food at all.

A typical day

I sometimes like to go on walks at Price Park in Greensboro. If I come over to drop in, I have plenty of toys to give them a chance to play. I also enjoy Bog garden here in Greensboro! If they come to my house, I have good fun activities like toy playing, interaction with my dogs who are easy going and walks if required!

I will tend to their needs and give them the necessary love, attention and care that they require while you are away. I have a few cleaning jobs a few times in week but I am only gone from 2-4 hours if I do work. Other than that, I am available to care for your dog and give them lots of love! I can let them out to potty lots of times in day. Let me know their routine and I will be sure to follow through with it while they are with me!
