Loving & trusting care for your pet
Pet care experience
As a mom to 3 fur babies of my own, I understand how stressful it can be to choosing the perfect caregiver for your beloved pets. My primary goal is to provide an experience where your pet feels at home, so you can relax, worry-free! Recognizing that some pets experience separation anxiety or confusion in unfamiliar surroundings, I give them as much time as they need to get acclimated first. My approach is to spend individual time with them in a quiet space (my den/basement), so we can get to know one another and allow them to get familiar with our home. Once they feel at ease, I gradually introduce them to my dogs (and any visiting pups) one at a time, giving them the opportunity to become acquainted and adjust comfortably. If any signs of discomfort arise from either my dogs or yours, I will keep them separated to ensure everyone's safety. I am familiar first-aid practices, including CPR for dogs, to administering allergy shots and managing various medications (both oral and topical).
Reviews
This was my first time using Donna and it will not be my last. She kept our 4 year old Yorkie for a week and sent photos and/or video regularly. I can tell that my dog had a GREAT time will there, with Donna and her husband and with the other dogs. My dog is happy and healthy. Donna was a great communicator and very easy to work with. The next time I need a boarder, I know my dog will be in good hands. Thank you again for your great service.
Donna is amazing and her love for our fur babies shows. She stayed in constant contact and sent pictures regularly. I could tell that my baby thoroughly enjoyed his time there. Donna is a keeper. Without a doubt i will be returning.
Donna was great! I got regular pictures, she administered medication and was good with his special diet. Would definitely book her again.
Amazing, warm and friendly environment. Keeps me updated regt!

My husband and I live in a spacious, three-level, end unit townhome. As we do not have a fenced yard, your dog will always be on a leash when outside. To maintain a safe environment, our yard has been treated with pet-safe pesticides to eliminate fleas, ticks, and other pests. For your convenience, we have small, medium, and XL crates, extra leashes (retractable and leads), bowls for water and food, and plenty of toys for pups to play with! We will provide your pup with bottled water, you just bring the food :) Lastly, as one of our Frenchies suffer from food allergies, we only provide pet safe raw fruits and veggies or all-natural, one-ingredient, dehydrated fruit or protein treats for our dogs, which your pet can enjoy as well (if permitted). We keep plenty of unscented baby wipes on hand to wipe their faces clean after their meals. There are two Furbo pet cameras in our home — one in the basement and one on the main floor, which allows us to closely watch over your pets when we need to step out. The cameras also allow me to throw treats at them right from the camera! We do allow our dogs and visiting pups on the furniture. Our ultimate goal is to create a comfortable and loving environment for your pup. However, we are fully dedicated to adhering to your specific provided instructions.

Information Donna G. would like to know about your pet
To ensure the best possible experience for your furry family member, please provide any pertinent information ahead of time such as: any allergies, medications, or special dietary restrictions. Additionally, please inform me of any specific behaviors or tendencies that I should be aware of, such as separation anxiety, aversion to being picked up or petted on the head, discomfort around children, or any other details that can help me provide the most comfortable and personalized care for your pet.
A typical day
We live in a beautiful golf-course community with scenic walking trails and a lake (Beechtree). On pleasant days, we’ll take leisurely strolls around the lake. We understand that each dog has unique needs and energy levels, and we are committed to tailoring our daily activities accordingly. During the weekdays, we’ll hang out in the cozy den/basement, and your fur baby would be my “work from home colleague” except they’ll likely be playing with a basket full of toys or simply laying around on the couch lol.

Availability
As I work full-time from home, my schedule offers great flexibility to accommodate the needs of your pet. We will go out for potty breaks 4 times a day (early in the morning when everyone wakes up, mid day, after dinner, and right before bed). However, I will accommodate the schedule your pet is accustomed to.
