Any and all animals are welcome!

Pet care experience

All my life I have owned dogs and cats, I currently have 3 dogs, 2 large breed and one small and 3 cats. For the past 5 years I have worked in industries that revolve around pets. I spent 2 years working for a doggy daycare and excelled at my job and truly loved going to work every day. I then moved on to work at the animal shelter where I was able to prove my abilities with animals and was promoted within a month to a part of the intake team where I was trained to handle animals of all sorts of temperaments as well as aid in emergency medical care. With my own dogs I have spent countless hours training them to be the best a dog can be. I always respect an owners choice in rules laid out for their pets and understand that consistency is key to a happy healthy pet.

I worked with Donna for about a year at West Valley Humane Society. She was a huge asset to our team and went above and beyond. While working there she was dog intake so she hung out with dogs all day! She was very passionate about the dogs and always treated them kindly. Along with working at the shelter she also has three dogs of her own that she spoils. I would recommend her to anyone who needs a dog walker or sitter!

I have known Donna for many years. I’ve never known her to put herself before animals ever. She is a wonderful dog mom to 3 wonderful pup,2 pits and a terrier. All of which have been adopted from the humane society. She wants to give all the forgotten a chance to have a loving home. As well she has 3 cat, all adopted as well. One of the news was a foster that never ended up leaving. If I was to have anyone watch over my animals it would be her because I know they would receive endless amounts of love and be well taken care of.

Donna has been around dogs her entire life, and after graduating high school, I don't think there's been very many jobs she's had that wasn't working with dogs in some shape or form. All three of her own gorgeous pups are rescues, and she loves and cares for them like they're her own flesh and blood. If there's anyone to entrust care of your furry family member to, it's Donna.

Information Donna A. would like to know about your pet

My biggest question for any animal I sit for is how do they do with other animals, and children. If I were to sit in my home I would prefer a dog or cat that is comfortable with meeting new pets and is okay with children as I have a month old daughter

A typical day

I love to take my dogs to the walking path by rotary ponds and will take most my clients there as well. There is also the Caldwell Dog Park right next to it where I can allow some of the more energetic pups a chance to run off even more energy before their walk.

I am currently a stay at home mom to a 2 month old baby girl. I spend my days playing with my dogs and caring for my daughter. I’m looking to make a little extra money for the holiday season where I won’t have to be away from my daughter for too long as she is strictly breastfed
