My friend and I co-parented a yorkie. Sometimes people wouldn't even notice me without the Pele. Animals are a gift from God. We should treat them as family. When I moved to Tulsa, I purposely rented a place with a back yard so I could get a dog or offer pet sitting. If they have a favorite toy or walking location, then that's important to me also. If snuggling is a desire, then snuggling will definitely happen! Animals are therapeutic to those of us who love them. So, if they have special needs, we should without any hesitation meet those needs with love and affection.
