I've had dogs my entire life and grew-up mostly with two Basset Hounds named Moose and Melanie! For 3 years, I worked as a Vet Tech doing tasks ranging from cleaning kennels, basic bathing and grooming to cleaning teeth, assisting with surgeries, taking blood and performing lab tests, as well as caring for critical care animals. A German Shepherd was my Frisbee and hiking buddy for 19 years! I now have a Bichon who gives high-fives and a 13 year old German Shepherd/Husky mix who loves winter!
