Pet care experience
I’ve owned pets of every kind for most of my life and have a special love and connection with dogs. I have often been my neighbors “go to” for pet sitting when something unexpected comes up. I have fostered family members pets for long periods when they were traveling out of country and have taken care of co workers pets when working opposite shifts at the fire department. I also have experience treating animal injuries, taking care of sick animals and giving medication.

I cannot imagine a better place for a dog to stay! Donald and his “doggy camp” are a home away from home as well as a fun romp in nature. Our dog had the best of both worlds, a comfortable home experience with Donald in his lovely cabin AND the outdoor fun and companionship of his other 4 legged guests on hikes and playing. Our dogs didn’t want to come home! Don even met us at the bottom of the hill due to the mud. Great experience overall!
Timber had a great time with Donald, it seemed like a dream day. Donald sent pictures and videos throughout the day of Timber having a blast. On top of running a resting, Timber was able to socialize with a neighboring dog. We came back to a tired happy puppy and look forward to future visits with Donald.
Our senior dog Boudreaux had a wonderful time with Don! First of all, Don's property is dog heaven. No traffic, lots of trails, a pond, and a comfortable home to rest in. Secondly, Don was a terrific dog sitter. He was able to deal with our dog's special needs and eye medications and tailored his walks and care perfectly to Boudreaux's senior needs. Boudreaux was happy to see us when we came to pick him up (and he looked amazing, as Don had just given him a good brushing out), but I think he would have been happy to remain with Don as well! We would recommend Don to anyone who is looking for someone to provide a fun, safe, and caring experience for their dog.

I live off grid on 14 acres at the end of a private dirt road. There is zero danger from traffic or any other hazards. More than a mile of trails are located on the property and many more miles of trails are adjacent to the property for those long walks. There is a small fenced enclosure, a large yard where dogs can run and play, forests and meadows to explore, a pond for those hot summer days and a separate, secure outbuilding for overnight guests. All pets are also welcome in the main house.

A typical day
Located off grid on 14 acres at the end of a private dirt road. Private, quiet and safe environment for your pets. Love to go for long walks on the great trails on and off the property, I have a small pond for water lovers and a large yard for activities. Bring their favorite toys and I promise, your dog will sleep well after a day of walks and play. If your pet is more of an indoor pet, needs special care or is more of a loner, I have a cozy home, fenced area in the backyard and outbuildings where everyone is welcome. Your dog will be supervised 100% of the time.
