From caring for my own I know that they are part of the family and deserve to be treated like one. As such, I am patient and willing to learn about any special needs, and won't rush the dog except to be on time. I also know that what makes a successful dog walk is staying assertive while respecting their space. And basic commands are not unfimiliar to me. Of course, having fun and engaging with them, if they're willing, can go a long way. I like to be outdoors, walk and bike where I can. I am also comfortable with most breeds, settings, and people so location should hardly be an issue, be it at home, around the neighborhood, or a park or other outdoor setting.
