I've had animals my whole childhood. Dogs, cats, hamsters, chinchillas!! Oh my! I always wanted a dog of my own but I knew it would be selfish of me b/c I'd be working all the time. I'm the adult person on the street that asks to pet your dog. I'm the person who smiles at dogs in the backseats of cars. Now, I'm home with my two kids and have some free time during the day that I thought I might fill the void of not having a dog by helping other people care for their own fur babies! I watch my friends dogs when they travel. I look forward to the opportunity to keep your furriest family member company while you work. I have a love for animals and a desire to get moving. Donae has helped out with our boy Bear. After being in her care, Bear always came home super happy! He is always excited to see her! We really appreciate Donae she’s really helped us out and we completely trust her with our beloved puppy boy.
I am happy to recommend Donae to become a dog sitter with Rover. As a mom of two small children, Donae is caring, kind and very patient, always putting the needs of her family above herself. Donae is an avid dog lover and volunteers to help in the care of her friends dogs. She dog sits for her friends and family when they travel out of town. When Donae spends time with my two dogs, she is spends the time to play with them both and give them love and attention while ensuring their safety.
I wouldn't leave my Charlie with just anyone. We actually neglected ourselves from going anywhere alot of times, because we didn't like the previous sitters. Of course we took trips hoping to bring Charlie, but sometimes it's impossible.After the first time Donae watched my doggie i knew we found the one; and were never afraid to take trips again.Donae spends time playing with your dog and walks them,to the point that they may not wanna leave.Donae's grown up with dogs so she understands them.Prior places I felt neglected my pets i.e. lack of exercise,attention and even water.Not the case here.I'd recommend her to anyone who loves their pets like family.
Donae K. has been watching my sweet Havanese/Maltese for a long time! Boo is now 7 years old and Donae has been my saving grace when I go on vacations and long weekends. I have 3 children and am constantly on the go with all of their sports and activities. Donae has been consistently there for me and my Family either it be babysitting for a weekend or a week long trip excursion! I always feel safe and comfortable leaving my Boo with Donae. She is consistent with keeping my dog’s schedule and always expresses her love, attention and affection. Whenever Boo’s stay with Donae is over, you can tell Boo was well taken care of. She is always so happy and content! I highly recommend Donae and am positive your experience with her will be nothing but amazing !

My dog is out all day and when we leave for short periods. She sleeps in her crate at night and sometimes just really likes to go in there on her own. We play in our fenced in back yard, lots of fetch and keep away. We have her wee wee pad trained but she prefers to go outside. If the dog is low shedding or hypoallergenic they can come on the couch. We feed once in the AM and again at night but no people food. Good dog treats! Lots of affection and belly rubs to go around. When I'm walking a dog I usually take the first five minutes to say hi and get them leashed/harnessed. Then I walk for about 20 minutes and take the rest of the time to settle them back in , give them a treat ( if allowed) and some more rubs before leaving.

A typical day
I like to walk the trails through the Bethpage state park. But if I'm only coming to your home for 30 minutes I'd probably stick to your neighborhood. I can play catch with them in the backyard if you prefer!

I'm currently at home with my two young kids. My youngest just started daycare so I'm available from 9:30-1:45 during the week to help you!
