Pet care experience
i have a blind and deaf senior french bulldog who adores me as much as i do him. my jack is well loved, very secure and content. we walk several times a day to a variety of locations where he can explore the different smells and terrains. i have taken care of very senior dogs with ease. i am able to establish a comfortable bond with the dogs i have cared for. i have experience with many breeds, sizes, ages and personalities, which of course, is unique to each dog. i always adhere to the directives from my clients for their dog(s). i allow each dog to be who they are which creates a trusting and bonding relationship for them as well as myself. i am tried and true and always reliable. i also do cat sitting, feeding, etc. i do not overnight cats in my own home. i currently have 2 cats and bringing in a stranger does not often go well with felines. fellow cat owners know all about this kind of thing.

Dona has been housesitting my crew of critters ( dogs and cats) for th last 10+ years. She has come for a weekend or sometimes close to a month when I m traveling. My fur kids LOVE her, as soon as she comes thru the door, all attention goes to her, they barely acknowledge me!! LOL When i am away, she sends me photos of what my crazy kids have been up to...this totally makes me feel good and alleviates the guilt I sometimes feel, especially if I am away for several weeks. Dona is always my first choice when i need a reliable and trustworthy sitter...I highly recommend her!!
Dona has taken care of my dogs and cat on several occasions. She always does a great job caring for them. I know they enjoyed their time with her because they were a bit sad after she was gone. I could tell from our first meeting she is a special person who has a special connection to + love of animals. My fur babies immediately took a liking to her!! A great pet sitter is hard to come by.....someone you are comfortable with, to trust alone in your home + entrust with the well-being of your beloved pets. On a side note, she is also an amazing photographer who has provided me with some favorite photos of my treasured fur family. I highly recommend Dona for anyones’s pet sitting needs! You + your furry friends will adore her.
Dona has taken care of my dog Doc on several occasions when I am out of town. He always seems eager to see her and well taken care of when I return. My house is always clean and orderly when I walk through my front door. An appreciative bonus for me
I have known Dona for 30+ years and she has always been a animal advocate. She currently has an 11 year old French Bulldog that was a rescue that she loves dearly. She also has two amazing cats and takes excellent care of all her pets. She has experience with older dogs with disabilities and can care for your pet with love and kindness. i would like to meet the dog and owners before committing to sitting. there are many nuances and needs each pet possesses. i try to be thorough in details about each pet. upon meeting the dog, i will know if we have a good relationship and will enjoy being with one another. i do not need to meet with the felines i will be caring for, unless there is something specific that requires me doing so. being a french bulldog owner, i am thoroughly aware of their needs and interests. i enjoy giving the extra TLC that senior dogs require for reassurance when their owners are away. i get great joy playing in the park with dogs that want or need to indulge in that type of actitivity.
A typical day
i have green open spaces, wooded areas with walking trails, streams and ponds near my home...alot of nature. i like to take the dogs i am caring for to different places where they enjoy exploring new terrain and smells. i have a fenced in back yard where we play fetch, run around, etc for those who want to indulge in activities like that.
