I am a compassionate & reliable pet care giver who would love to spend time with your dog or cat! I have 5+ years experience working with animals. My animal care journey began working with the Liberty Humane Society in Jersey City where I was responsible for dog walks, feeding, training, enrichment & giving daily exercise as well as setting up Meet & Greets for dogs & cats with potential adoption matches. In addition, I gained my Fear Free Shelter certification which allowed me to assist the Vet Technician with administering medications as well as helping to alleviate fear and stress that comes for the dog and cat with animal intake and check ups. During my time with the animal shelter shelter I spent time in the Cattery where I cleaned, fed & provided enrichment as well as socialization to the cats. This is when I began to realize how complex the nature of cats is and how each one has it’s own unique personality. Through giving TLC and time, I’ve helped many cats open up and become successful with finding their right Adoption match- even the cats considered feral at first. I have also fostered senior cats in my home with special needs, providing socialization and healing in order to set them up for success in finding their furever home! I am knowledgeable in pet nutrition having worked at the Hound About Town Boutique store in Jersey City for 2+ years assisting customers in selecting the right food for their dog or cat as well as providing knowledge on different food brands, supplements & enrichment for their fur baby. I am currently employed part time with a woman-owned dog walk business “Hamilton Bark” in Jersey City, where I have my routine dog walks for clients in select afternoons during the week. My schedule is flexible and can easily be adjusted to fit your needs. I am available for dog walks, cat drop ins and overnight stays with your pet and have weekends open as well for pet sitting . Your pet’s safety and well being is my utmost priority and I will always ensure to communicate with you on what your fur baby’s needs are and provide you with updates while you’re away.

Dona is wonderful. She is kind, considerate, shows up on time and I appreciate how communicative she is. She took great care of my very excitable golden. Soul spends half his time in the countryside where he was trained off leash. Being in the city takes a little of adjusting when he gets back into the swing of things but Dona went out of her way to practice sitting and staying at cross walks and correcting him when he would pull on the leash. I’ve noticed a big difference due to her guidance and will continue to use her whenever Soul is in the city! I know Soul is in the most loving hands when with Dona. Dona is absolutely wonderful. She took great care of our 2 kitties and our giant Irish Wolfhound. Our pets are usually extremely shy but they warmed up to her so fast! She also sent great updates and photos. We look forward to booking her again in the future!!
Dona is such a gem! I can’t recommend her enough especially if you have shy pets. She was so loving and kind to our sweet shy girl cat Dolly who recently lost her brother and has been hiding a lot in her grief - by the end of our time away Dolly was giving her head butts and demanding pets! We can’t wait to work with her again.

I have a very secure fenced in yard and safe home environment in the Mcginely Square area. When I visit my clients’ homes I provide the dog or cat meals if needed , clean litter boxes, keep the dog’s crate or area tidy, clean any messes in addition to doing the dishes, overall making sure everything is back in it’s proper place and all is well.
